Interview Tips

Interviews come and go in life. Today’s job markets are highly competitive so you should always maintain a high standard of professionalism. This is meant to impress your employer. Here a kind of professionalism needed to have high success in the interview session.

Professionalism includes Preparation, Presentation, and Punctuality.

Preparation is meant to get to know at least the background of the company you are hoping to work for. Be prepared to discuss the industry, the company's relative size within that industry and show that you know who the major players and competitors are etc.

Presentation is not only the clothes you wear, but your general presentation during the interview. Formal dress code is the best option. Be polite not just during the interview but to any one you may have contact with in the office and its premises. Body language such as eye contact and how you greet your interviewer are essential. Shaking hands is a sign of confidence and respect so is making regular eye contact.

Punctuality is being on time for a successful interview. Being early gives you time to relax and prepare for your interview. If you are going to be late or unable to attend for any unavoidable reason, call ahead and let them know. This will show them that you are serious and that you take your commitments seriously. Give yourself plenty of time to get to your destination, map out a route if you are unsure of the way.

Here below are some of the most commonly asked questions to help you for your interview:
Tell us about yourself?
What do you know about this company?
What salary are you expecting?
The question is not difficult to answer just be honest and give the figure. And the rest leave it in Providence!
All the best!
